Retention characteristics of aromatic hydrocarbons on silica and aminopropyl-modified monolithic columns in normal-phase HPLC.Sutton PA, Nesterenko PN ACROSS - Australian Centre for Research On Separation Science, School of Chemistry, University of Tasmania, Hobart, TAS, Australia. A suite of aromatic hydrocarbons were used to investigate the influence of structure upon retention in normal-phase HPLC mode using bare silica and aminopropyl-modified silica Chromolith type monolithic columns. The aminopropyl-modified silica monolith was used to separate a complex petroleum fraction based on double bond equivalence. Published 27 November 2007 in J Sep Sci, 30(17): 2900-9.
